Testing out a new Video Host

So for those that haven't noticed my hiatus over the past 6 months or so, it has been mainly due to my loss of faith in using MEGA as a source for uploading. As you guys have experienced here, links that get shared are leeched from users and shared to public sites or discords, where the files are then quickly taken down by MEGA. This is a major problem, both for siterips and regular downloads.

So for multiple months now I've been trying out a flurry of different sites to see what hosts could properly serve our porn sharing services. And finally after months of searching and testing, I think I've found the (possible) solution.

There's a site is called StreamZ.cc. I'll go over some of the pros and cons below:

Pros:

  • Allows users to stream AND download videos.
  • Allows up to 4k videos (.mp4 files are not encoded -- confirmed with sha512 hash).
  • The site is DMCA ignored so takedowns are not an issue like with MEGA (see more info at bottom of page).
  • Account storage is unlimited, and files are kept forever.
  • Videos can be up to 20GB in size.

Cons:

  • There are annoying popunder ads when first playing/downloading the videos. You MUST disable modify adblocker in order to view the videos (also annoying).
  • Web Uploads (uploading via browser) doesn't always work for 1080p/4k videos and can be a pain in the ass to deal with (FTP uploading is the workaround and works 100% of the time, but not all uploaders may know how or be willing to FTP upload).
  • Download speeds may be slower than what users currently experience with MEGA.

DMCA Ignored

Because this host is DMCA ignored, we won't have to worry about takedowns like with MEGA. However, this isn't to say all DMCA requests are ignored. From my research (and to my current understanding) they will takedown videos for Disney requests, but that isn't a problem we have to worry about. Otherwise I have not heard anything about other DMCA takedowns from it's members.

Now, because this is a new video host being tested out, I'm only uploading videos from this site to the GirlsDoPorn forum. For the time being, the points system will be disabled for the GirlsDoPorn forum (meaning you will neither earn nor spend any points). I don't want people feeling cheated if it turns out to be something other than what they expected. This will be a test of the site's DMCA ignored capabilities, it's speeds, and the general overall opinion from members on what they think of this source. So far their claims of not encoding videos (including 4k quality) is true, so this will be a test of some of their other claims.

Test out the quality, the streaming/download speeds, etc. I look forward to hearing your feedback! Hopefully if all goes well and there is positive feedback overall, other uploaders can start using this source without having to worry about their hard work getting leeched and taken down within a few days/weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to write up the information for us @Mr Porn.  The video host seems promising based upon preliminary testing! Should be especially good for people who don't have a premium MEGA account as it doesn't officially have any data transfer limits and download speeds aren't great but are more than acceptable for downloading for free. Speeds seem good enough to provide smooth video streaming as well. I hope that it keeps the files alive for much longer than MEGA and is indeed a suitable alternative.

EDIT:

There seems to be some sort of bot protection. I was double-checking that your links were working correctly. I must have checked like 10 links in 2-3 minutes and received the following error message:

Too many video views in the last few minutes.

This is a BOT protection. Sorry for that.
Please wait a few minutes and try it again!

Click here to verify yourself as human.

After verifying that I'm not a bot by completing a reCAPTCHA challenge, I was shown the following message:

Thanks for checking. You aren't a robot.

You can now stream videos as usual.

I was able to check 10 links again in rapid succession before being asked to complete another reCAPTCHA challenge. Presumably, I will be allowed to continue using the website for another 10 links. I will not continue with further testing but I do not think this should be a concern for a genuine viewer.

Thank you for bringing this up, I was unaware of it previously. As you've mentioned, it should not be a problem for normal users who are trying to either stream or download videos -- they won't be clicking 10 links in ~3 minutes.

If anyone else runs into this problem in a much more spanned out time period, please comment below. Your feedback is important!

Based on my experience from piracy in general sites like this usually go under in ~6 months or be 'in maintenance' for indefinite period of time. Just my 2 cents.

This was also of concern to me when looking for a new host over the past 6 months. However from the multitude of hosts I checked and tested (and watched die), they seemed to have some commonalities:

  • They generally were under the same ownership (gounlimited.co) or were copycat sites of each other. StreamZ  does not seem to be a copy/paste of those sites, nor does it appear to be under the same ownership or affiliated with gounlimited.co
  • They allowed remote upload between each other (copycat sites of each other or under the same ownership) which worked fairly well, but as a result their servers overloaded with content and they just shut it down quickly after. From users complaints about StreamZ, the remote upload either takes forever (up to 2 weeks for 1 file) or doesn't work at all. While this is an issue for these users, it is a positive in my book (less unnecessary backups and overloading the servers).
  • Each of those sites offered the same things: 30 day file limits (delete if no views after 30 days), 720p max quality, and premium accounts you could pay for to keep the files forever. StreamZ offers all accounts unlimited storage and has no delete policy, though videos that go unwatched for extensive periods of time are moved to slower speed servers. There are also no premium services to pay for, so there is no "take the money and run" scheme underlying this site (as opposed to the others).

This isn't to say that StreamZ won't necessarily go down in ~6 months, but there's a lot differentiating it from those other sites that did. I should mention that there are other sites that have been up for multiple years with no problems, but again, that doesn't mean StreamZ will be one of these sites. Only time will tell, hence the "testing" of a new host.

But in comparison to MEGA, some siterips that people were spending weeks uploading were being DMCA'd after mere days of being posted on here. There's quite the foundation of public sharing sites/discords for MEGA out there and people are taking advantage of that here and leeching our links -- and because of that many links are dying very quickly. I'm not saying definitively that StreamZ is the solution to our problem, but it might be a good start to at least explore.

Brought to my attention by @TuxedoTiger -- anybody have problems downloading videos with the annoying ads, try using to bypass:

https://9xbuddy.org/sites/streamz

I like the GDP stuff, but trying to go to the website gave me some problems where I would try and download or play and it would start redirecting me elsewhere.

Yeah, those are the annoying popunder ads. The majority of adblockers don't work with StreamZ, though after testing a bunch I have found AdGuard will block those popunders and allow you to watch the videos without any problems. However, when testing it for downloads it doesn't work -- hence the site listed above to help people download the videos.

Try downloading AdGuard to watch videos on StreamZ. Hope this helps.

I think enough time has passed to give more feedback about this. Any thoughts from our users?

Unfortunately, the video host isn't proving to be a suitable replacement in my opinion. I tried to stream some of the scenes you posted today and they all constantly get stuck on buffering. This issue occurred last week as well as @Mr Porn well knows. It would be premature to use it as a replacement of MEGA as the service has been proven unreliable. My suggestion is to only use it as a mirror until it becomes a stable service. It is a new video host and still needs time to mature.

It seems to me that attempting to add videos immediately after uploading them leads to the buffering issues. Allowing the videos to remain uploaded for a couple days or week usually leads to the buffering issues disappearing. I'm not sure why to be honest, but older videos that have been uploaded for a while never have these issues whereas newly uploaded videos consistently have this issue.

Originally I thought it was a certain server issue, where the videos were getting uploaded to a slow server. Then I thought it was a time issue, where the servers were slower at certain parts of the day. But I'm fairly certain at this point it's just a relation between how long ago the video has been uploaded. Every video I try after letting it sit for a week (regardless of size) works 100% fine at different points throughout the day.

So I'm not sure how that should play into all of this, and if we are still willing to go along with it. It just seems strange to me that a 1GB file has buffering issues the day it's uploaded, but a 6GB file has no problems a week after upload. We've already determined there isn't any encoding, so I don't know what's going on in that regards.

Update: Clicking streamz links seems to not open them in a new tab for me. I have to copy-paste the link in a new tab. I think this is cause they bought a bunch of extra domains so it no longer brings you to a .cc domain but instead a variation.

Also, allowing adblock users is now a setting in the options page for uploaders. Everyone that has used streamz or plans to use streamz as a source should enable this option. I just enabled it on my end, so we'll see how long it takes to truly go into effect.

Edit: 12 hours later, allowing adblock users setting seems to be in effect. Opening links in new tab now works after changing this setting.

Any updated feedback regarding StreamZ? I've had a bunch of my mega videos taken down here (having only being uploaded for 2 or 3 months) and am not too keen on reuploading to MEGA.

Positive and negative feedback, looking for it all. I know StreamZ isn't ideal for downloading content, so I'd like to hear some additional input before fixing my posts with StreamZ links.

I have tried to use StreamZ, but it is almost impossible. Adblockers (uBlock,uMatrix) break this site and it does not work correctly and i can't use AdGuard, because it breaks something for network settings, rendering internet inaccessible. And without adblockes there are countless Popups, ads in new windows, etc.

At best it could be as mirror for people who can use it but it should never be as sole way to access videos. At the moment there already are so many videos on this site that only have StreamZ link what i can not use 😥

I performed some basic StreamZ testing again and my feedback largely remains the same as what was shared before. The only addition is that I don't like the fact that they added the requirement to login to download the video. However, this is merely an annoyance, a non-issue, as it is easy to extract the download link from the stream itself.

For me, unlike @quantaxe, the browsing/viewing experience was clean: ads and pop-ups free; due to custom extensions.

Do your adblockers break for my StreamZ videos? Normally they would break for users that have not opted in to accept adblockers, but I have selected this option so adblockers should be allowed when watching or downloading any of my videos. If you haven't tried recently, try one of my links: https://streamz.cc/fdHpqdGt6MHV3MW82ZXgw and see if your adblock still breaks the site.

I was unaware of the login requirements for downloads. Have you tested any of the download speeds recently -- more or less the same as before (still pretty slow) or have they gotten worse/better?

---

The reason I brought this all up and was looking for some more feedback was because I went through all of my mega accounts to see how many videos were left. Here's the results:

Sexual Disgrace - 0/30

Public Disgrace - 0/24

Device Bondage - 4/39

Fucking Machines - 4/38

The Training of O - 1/30

Hogtied - 0/2

Everything Butt - 0/5

Trans Angels - 12/78

Those aren't great numbers considering many of the videos were uploaded in early November and I discovered them to be broken as of May 18th (ish). This also considering that Kink videos used to last well over a year on MEGA but now mere months. So 3 and a half months of uptime? Only 1 more month and my StreamZ GDP videos will have beaten MEGA in longevity. For someone with 684 FuckingMachines videos alone ready and willing to upload, it's a bit disheartening to consider that the videos wouldn't last more than 4 months up on MEGA, so it gives me pause to attempt it.

This then brings up the question to the community: would people prefer a wider range of content up on StreamZ or a smaller selection that keeps getting reuploaded on MEGA (the better and community preferred hosting site)? Even if I were to upload both to MEGA and StreamZ for each video, the alternative StreamZ links would be the only ones accessible come September, and trying to reupload the videos to MEGA again would be like chasing my tail around in circles.

So basically, I can keep reuploading the same couple hundred videos to MEGA every few months, or I can continuously build up thousands of videos on StreamZ. It all depends on how much people are willing to tolerate StreamZ when the MEGA links go down.

Only after couple of tries and adblocker rules resets, at last i could successfully stream and download it. What i also found quite annoying is name of the file when i tried to download (6d34ad940fb79968486a34bb8dcb796d.mp4). Is this name of file when it was uploaded or is it generated by site? Other annoyance is, that i have to download every single file manually as i could not find download manager that supports this site and if filenames are generated automatically by site it would be a mess anyways.

Are there really no other good alternatives for mega? Really?

That is not the name of the file, I thought in the past it kept the file name but they may have changed that. As for MEGA alternatives, none that I have found thus far -- but I'm open to any suggestions anyone may have found.

It also breaks on my antivirus Norton Security requiring me to go into isolation mode in my antivirus in order to use the site, because it's been reported as a phishing website from the auto analysis. Furthermore, https://9xbuddy.org/sites/streamz does not work, when I tried downloading one of your stream z videos it just downloaded an error message. Then again, from what other users have been saying it looks okay and I would probably give it a go if it worked on my system without having to go into isolation mode.

Yeh I've tried uploading around 5 files at the same time and it doesn't randomly disconnect there anymore.
